Have you ever dreamed of living in a country house, making yourself comfortable at the fireplace in winter or enjoying the warm andalucian summer-nights on the terrace with a glass of "Cava" and be woken up by the crowing of roosters or the sound of whinnying horses? You are overlooking a beautiful green river-valley, a white, unspoilt village in the mountains and small properties at the other side of the hill. Just a nice dream?
Our 32,000 sqm finca includes a ground-level house (100 sqm), a separate studio-apartment (40sqm, 1 st floor, private entrance) and a shared pool. The old, lovingly refurbished, typical andalucian farm-house with thick walls, high ceilings, tasteful interior design and easy access offers breath-taking views over the river-valley "Valle del Guadalhorce" (also called Sun-Valley) and the ruins of the Àlora´s Arabic castle.
You will find it an ideal place to relax at the side of your pool. There are also splendid opportunities for hikers, mountain-bikers and horse-riders. Round-trips are possible to the nearby lakes, Antequera, typical small mountain-villages, nature reserves or the coast, Málaga, Marbella , the beach, marinas, golf-courses, animal-parks, Gibraltar .
No problem. You will find small shops as well as big supermarkets. Typical tapas-bars and several restaurants are also within easy reach. The inhabitants of Álora are very hospitable and helpful people.
